Crisis Stabilization

The comprehensive support provided through the Crisis Stabilization program is designed to help at-risk children, ages four through 17, stay in their home and avoid psychiatric hospitalization or other out-of-home placements.

During this eight to 12 week intensive intervention, Washburn’s caring staff offer therapeutic services, skill-building, case management and parenting support, with a 24-hour on call service. Therapists collaborate with a child’s teachers and social workers to identify needs and develop strategies for increased stability.
