Washburn Center is committed to helping predoctoral candidates gain professional development and a solid foundation of clinical knowledge. These positions offer diverse clinical experiences and training opportunities which focus on the assessment and intervention of children, adolescents and families.
Predoctoral Psychology Practicum or Advanced Practicum
Students looking for their third-year practicum or an advanced practicum experience will gain experience with diagnostic assessment, individual and family therapy, parent counseling and supervised psychological evaluations. Practicum placements are available in Washburn Center’s Outpatient Therapy Program. Students typically work at one of our outpatient sites in Minneapolis, Edina or Brooklyn Park.

Practicum placements begin August 1 and are a year commitment. Applications for the 2020-2021 training year will be due around February of 2020. Interviews will take place in February 2020.
