Washburn Center for Children is witnessing and responding to a steep increase in demands of a children’s mental health crisis that threatens the future generation. Children are experiencing more overlapping diagnoses and needing extended treatment plans.

As we emerge from repeated traumas like the pandemic and community violence, the disruption to children’s lives, connections and stability cause cases to be more complex than ever before – and there’s no end in sight to this increased demand.
