Washburn Center for Children Welcomes Craig Warren to Executive Team

Minnesota non-profit continues building on its vision to increase access to compassionate and innovative mental health care for children

Washburn Center for Children has hired Craig Warren as Chief Administrative Officer. Warren joins the executive team to lead Human Resources, Finance and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion efforts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Craig and partner with him to transform the future of children’s mental health care,” said Tom Steinmetz, CEO at Washburn Center. “His strong leadership experience and deep commitment to children’s health and equity make him an outstanding fit for our team and mission.”

Warren brings extensive non-profit, corporate and military leadership experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for Minnesota Children’s Museum.

Warren previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Greater Twin Cities United Way. He earned his master’s degree from Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and his bachelor’s from Johns Hopkins University. Warren is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. He serves on the board of Hennepin Healthcare System.

This new position on the executive team will support the agency’s vision for more accessible and innovative mental health care for all children in Minnesota.
