The comprehensive support provided through the Crisis Stabilization program is designed to help children, ages three through 17, with severe emotional disturbances stay in their home and avoid psychiatric hospitalization or other out-of-home placements.
Our crisis stabilization therapists have teletherapy appointments available to give families quick access to compassionate crisis supports.
During this eight to 12 week intensive intervention, Washburn Center’s caring staff offer therapeutic services, skill-building, case management and parenting support, with a 24-hour on call service. Therapists collaborate with a child’s teachers and social workers to identify needs and develop strategies for increased stability.
