The comprehensive support provided through the Crisis Stabilization program is designed to help children, ages three through 17, with severe emotional disturbances stay in their home and avoid psychiatric hospitalization or other out-of-home placements.
During this eight to 12 week intensive intervention, Washburn Center’s caring staff offer therapeutic services, skill-building, case management and parenting support, with a 24-hour on call service. Therapists collaborate with a child’s teachers and social workers to identify needs and develop strategies for increased stability.
Crisis Stabilization services are provided in Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Washington and parts of Scott counties.
Crisis Stabilization services are available for individuals with Minnesota Medica, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota or Health Partners insurance. Clients may have financial responsibility for co-pays or deductibles.
